ABOUT THE BOOK |
|
Organic food grown mindfully can promote health and mental peace, simultaneously benefiting the farmers. This book presents the testimonies and life experiences of organic farmers from all parts of India, as well as of retailers and traders who are engaged in supplying food to urban Indian consumers. Ayurvedic physicians and naturopaths describe the healings their patients have experienced while on a natural diet of organically grown food. A compact directory of organic retailers, wholesalers and organic restaurants rounds off this enlightening volume. It will serve as a handy reference to all who are interested in organic food and farming in India. |
